Dental Implants

Are you missing a tooth or multiple teeth?

Do you wear dentures that are uncomfortable or don’t stay when you eat or speak? Talk to us at Noble Dental to see if dental implants are an option for you.

If you are missing a tooth, why should you consider replacing it with a dental implant? Your teeth are designed to work together to maintain proper structure and function of your mouth. If you are missing a tooth the structure and function of your mouth is not as strong as it was with all your teeth.  Missing teeth may affect how you speak or eat. A root of a tooth supports the tissue and bone. So when removed, even if it is not noticeable, it can cause your other teeth to shift and bone and tissue loss around the missing tooth.

A dental implant is a post made of biocompatible titanium which acts like your tooth’s root. An implant is placed and fuse with your natural bone and serve as a sturdy foundation for replacing missing teeth. Dental implants can replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or hold in a denture containing multiple teeth. Implants are the standard of care for replacing missing teeth and compared to the other options available, a dental implant is most similar to having a natural tooth.

At Noble Dental we provide dental implants to our patients through the following sequence:

Consultation and Planning

This includes an initial exam where we listen to your desired outcomes. We will then perform a thorough clinical exam and take diagnostic imaging, and discuss your treatment.

Placement of Dental Implant

The dental implant is placed in the jaw where you are missing the tooth. After placement, the surrounding bone will heal around the implant. Through a process called osseointegration, bone grows around the implant and firmly holds the implant in place.

Placement of Implant Crown/Bridge/Denture

After healing is complete, it’s time for the placement of the artificial tooth/teeth, or to attach your dentures to the implants to help the stay in. In some cases, temporary implant crowns can be placed at the same time as the dental implant.

Are you completely unsatisfied with your teeth and smile? With our cosmetic dentistry experience, we can provide you a smile transformation. After a consultation where we listen to your needs and desires and a thorough dental examination, we can offer you a comprehensive cosmetic treatment plan to give you the smile you always wanted in thorough and timely manner.
