After receiving his BS from Loyola University and his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, he went on to complete his MBA at Penn’s Wharton School of Business, where he majored in Healthcare Management.
Dr. Conover is actively involved in several study clubs in the city, including the Spear Study group, which reviews complex, comprehensive cases with colleagues from several dental specialties. As a clinician with expertise in conservative & adhesive dentistry, Dr. Conover believes excellence in the fundamentals is key to delivering great dentistry, and he is committed to using the latest dental materials and technologies. He is also trained and experienced in dental surgery & dental implant placement, rotary & bioceramic endodontics (root canals), clear aligners for orthodontics (Invisalign), and full-mouth rehabilitation and oral appliances for the treatment of sleep apnea.
A member of the American Dental Association & Pennsylvania Dental Association, he served as Business Manager of the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society. He has also co-written several surgical case studies for publication and was a contributing author for the book First Aid for the National Board Dental Exam.
Interested in how trends in healthcare affect dentistry, he served as an associate instructor on the faculty of Penn Dental Medicine. While at Wharton, Dr. Conover interned as a Board of Trustees fellow at C.V.I.M., a non-profit healthcare clinic in West Chester, PA where he volunteered as a staff dentist. Dr. Conover served as a consultant for medical device company Synthes-DePuy and venture firm Safeguard Scientifics.
Dr. Conover lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Joanna, and their 2 children. Dr. Conover bikes to work and is also on a never-ending quest to make the perfect cup of coffee.
